Lew Ehler hires Jack to find his missing wife, Melanie - who left a baffling message that only Jack could find her. Hoping to gather some clues, Jack attends a convention of bizarre and avid conspiracy theories in a New York City hotel. It seems that Melanie mysteriously disappeared after announcing her plans to unveil her Grand Unification Theory - the conspiracy theory to end all conspiracy theories. In the conspiracy world, where aliens are real, the government is out to get you, and civilization is hurtling toward an inevitable war of good versus evil.
